“Futures” offer accommodation and support to medium/High risk young people . We aim to offer residents a safe, friendly and stable environment to thrive in and reach their potential.
- 24 hours a day 7 day a week support – The support is tailored to suit individual needs
- CCTV to the front and rear of the property – this helps safeguard YP’s
- Day, Evening and sleep in staff – Again this helps safeguard young people at all times
- A gym membership – This encourages positive activity
- Links to our network of employers – This encourages employers to be flexible and give opportunities to young people, also giving the young person a chance to prove themselves
- Activities and rewards for positive contribution
- Attend all meetings and appointments that the young person may have
- Independence training i.e. Cooking, cleaning, financial, self care, etc. We devise a “Pathway to Independence” workbook for all Young people and these act as housing units, helping to make the transition to independence more achievable and sustainable
- Work very closely with YOT, CAHMS, Smart and other organisations – This ensures continuity of care
- A very high standard of accommodation – This encourages the young person to respect their surroundings
- We also closely monitor and record the YP’s progression and needs, in order to report back monthly to the care team, ensuring they are on track to meet SMART outcomes.
We are heavily involved with every aspect of the young persons route to independence and always take into consideration their Pathway plan and the young persons wishes
